HMD Global, which is the “home” of the former giant of a phone brand, has announced that it will be present its first device on AT&T Prepaid, the Nokia 3.1 A. They are also growing their portfolios over at Cricket Wireless by adding another of its entry levers devices, the Nokia 3.1 C, as an alternative for their subscribers.

This is the first Nokia phone being offered to AT&T subscribers ever since HMD relaunched the Nokia brand back in 2016. For Cricket Wireless, this is the 2nd phone being presented after the larger Nokia 3.1 Plus came to the carrier former this year. They are obviously targeting the entry-level market looking for either a secondary phone or a device that is reasonable but functional.

The two devices are actually pretty much identical. They have a 5.45-inch screen with 720-pixel display and are power-driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 processors. They have 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space which can be expanded with a microSD card. Both phones have 8MP main cameras with LED flash and 5MP front-facing cameras.

A leaked teaser video hints at the launch of Realme 3 in the coming days

The previous month, indianexpress.com reported that Realme was working on the latest smartphone which will be launched as Realme 3 in the first quarter of 2019. Now, a leaked video first accessed by BGR India reveals that the Realme 3 will launch in India shortly.

The leaked video is a sample of the original Realme 3 teaser which shows Madhav Sheth, the CEO of Realme dancing with a performer in full hip hop style. The teaser might be stimulated from the hip hop scene from Ranbir Singh starrer Gully Boy.

While not much has been exposed in the leaked video, the name Realme 3 is obviously audible. Back in January indianexpress.com had quoted Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth as saying that Realme 3 phone would be announced at several points in the first-quarter of 2019. But the CEO had not revealed any other information about the phone’s price and specifications, or how the company would try and distinguish the experience from the innovative Realme 2.

Sheth also made it apparent that Realme does not see any value in launching smartphones with a “punch-hole” screen or triple cameras.

As of now, Realme has five phones under its belt– Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, Realme C1, and Realme U1. Xperia XZ4 triple cameras include 52MP sensor, largest in the market

Sony’s mobile business is in deep trouble. Despite its endeavor to reinvent its Xperia line, its previous earnings are leaving analysts wondering if this year will be Sony Mobile’s previous hurrah. The company, however, has forever been stubborn about its smartphones, despite and in spite of all the odds. Expected to headline this coming MWC 2019, the Xperia XZ4 could also provide smartphone users something to talk about. Provided it’s not yet too late for the Xperia brand, that is.

Despite making competitive digital cameras, Sony has fallen way behind when it came to smartphone cameras. Which is both sad and ironic allowing for it makes the sensors that other smartphone makers use and boast about. It’s almost as if it treasury those high-end sensors for its consumers, leaving nothing for its own Xperia phones.

The Xperia XZ4 could change that trend, at least for this year. According to the most recent leak, not only will it have three cameras on its back, one of those will be the maximum ever in the market in terms of megapixel count. Trumping the Honor View 20’s 48 megapixel sensor, which, another time, was made by Sony, the upcoming Sony flagship will boast of a still-unannounced 52 megapixel sensor with a large f/1.6 aperture lens.

As mentioned, it won’t be alone. Based on the leaked image, there will be a 16 megapixel f/2.6 telephoto camera on top and a 0.3 megapixel f/1.4 Time-of-Flight sensor under. The latter seems to be a new trend, even though its correct practical use has yet to be elaborated.

Given the Xperia XZ4’s rumored specs and, now, these three cameras, it seems expected it will be Sony’s premium 2019 flagship, despite not having the usual “Premium” label. That will leave it a bit handicapped later this year without the latest flagship unless it previously foresees the Xperia XZ4 could very well be it is last.
