Samsung‘s present 4K “Onyx Cinema LED” display for huge screens, presently available only in a few countries crossways the world, is set to come to India later this year, a top company executive supposed on Wednesday.
“We primary launched the screen in Korea, then we installed it in China, Europe, Thailand and the US.
Once users watch gratified on ‘Onyx’ screen, it would be very tough for them to switch to conservative projectors in theatres,” Puneet Sethi, Vice President, Consumer Electronics Enterprise Business, Samsung India, told IANS here.

The display comes with inclusive solutions such as “Onyx View”, “Onyx 3D” and “Onyx Sound”.
The company, though, did not reveal the preliminary price of the 4K “Onyx” LED screens for the Indian market.
“We are presenting a game-changing technology which would cabinet the work of film directors in optimal excellence. In addition, it will also proposal our movie-goers a novel level of viewing environment, immersive in every aspect,” Sethi added.
