OPPO Reno Z out in new colors with 6GB RAM, 256GB storage
Oppo Reno Z

The OPPO Reno Z mid-range phone launched a few days before with a notch and a 32MP selfie cam. Those are just several of the highlights but we recognize the latest phone offers more than just a high-performing selfie shooter. The Reno is an innovative line from the Chinese OEM and we’re impressed there are a few phones existing already. There’s the entry-level OPPO Reno, OPPO Reno 10x Zoom Edition with shark fin-style selfie camera, and this OPPO Reno Z. An OPPO 5G phone is also prepared but for now, let’s focus on the OPPO Reno Z.

OPPO is set to release the Reno Z in Europe. We noted its price would be EUR 190 which is around $215. It is the first phone with a notch display from OPPO.

Today, we’re seeing a similar phone in Opposhop.cn. Oppo’s main website list the mid-range offering in Coral Orange with 6GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage space.

To review, here are the specs of the OPPO Reno Z: 6.4-inch AMOLED display with in-display fingerprint reader, 2340 x 1080 Full HD+ pixel declaration, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, Kyro 360 CPU, Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, Adreno 616 GPU, 128GB/256GB built-in storage space, 6GB RAM, and 4035mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 flash charging tech. The main cameras include a 48MP Sony IMX586 plus 5MP depth sensor. The 32MP selfie shooter is placed right on the notch in frontage. The standard connectivity features can be expected: WiFi, 4G VoLTE, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack.

The OPPO RENO Z 6GB RAM with 256G storage space costs ¥2499.00 which is around $230. That is still a mid-range price but previously inspiring because of the high RAM and big memory.

Aside from Coral Orange, the OPPO Reno Z will be obtainable in Star Purple, Bead White, Extreme Night Black. Jet Black and Ocean Green color variants were also noted earlier but we don’t see them on Opposhop.cn.

An innovative OPPO Reno phone is obtainable. The sub-brand was introduced back in March as an image of a secrecy phone surfaced online. It twisted out to be the OPPO Reno. The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom version launched with a shark fin-style selfie cam and wowed us with the exclusive design. Some 10x zoom lens in action were sighted so we recognize it’s a truly great phone. There’s also an OPPO 5G phone plus this latest one: the OPPO Reno Z.

The OPPO Reno Z smartphone is a latest mid-range offering for Europe. The EUR 190 device ($215) features a notch where the selfie camera is placed. It’s the initial notched phone from the OPPO line.

It boasts a few curved edges and a gradient color body. You can prefer from either the Jet Black or Ocean Green color. On the back, you can see a vertical strip along the center where the LED flash, logo, tagline, and O-Dot ceramic point is positioned. You won’t notice a camera hit but the O-Dot ceramic point is sufficient to protect the lens.

The OPPO RENO Z comes prepared with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, 2340 x 1080 Full HD+ pixel screen, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, Kyro 360 CPU, Adreno 616 GPU, 128GB onboard storage space, and 6GB RAM. The 3950 mAh non-removable battery sustain 20W (5V/4A) VOOC 3.0 flash charging technology.

When it comes to imaging, there is a double 48MP Sony IMX586 + 5MP depth sensor camera arrangement. The 32MP selfie camera should be sufficient to give the most excellent selfies. The phone may now be a mid-range phone but it comes with an in-display fingerprint reader.

The usual connectivity features are also obtainable from WiFi to 4G VoLTE, GPS, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.0. The device still features a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

No word on precise availability but it should be prepared in most parts of Europe and Asia soon. The phone is said to weigh 186 grams and determine 157.3 × 74.9 × 9.1 mm.
